Hosting a Steven Courtney assembly at your school is a positive and captivating experience for students of all ages and teachers too!  A concert with Steven Courtney goes beyond “entertainment” as he weaves positive social behaviors, creativity and imagination into every show.  Steven delights his audiences with award winning original songs, witty humor, physical comedy and engaging stories!

Current themes include (but not limited too) – positive social behaviors such as diversity, compassion, respect, responsibility, self-control, and No-bullying.  If your school is focusing on topics such as reading advocacy, creative writing, safety, or imagination and creativity, Steven can skillfully incorporate these topics as well.

Assembly Template
• 5 min. – Seating, welcome, and introduction of Steven Courtney
• 45 min. – Performance and participation
• 5 min. – Song led by Steven Courtney for a calm and peaceful dismissal.
• A “bonus” Family Fun Night Concert my be added to your concert package and can serve as a wonderful bridge to promote family wellness and community fellowship.

Adventure Bible School with Steven Courtney

“SHINE ON!” Adventure Bible School, serves as a wonderful VBS alternative to the traditional mail order package. “SHINE ON!”  is lead by Steven Courtney, live, in person. Minimal adult supervision is needed for registration and to assist the children as they rotate to their different stations.

*The program is available in four or five day/evening formats that run from Monday through Thursday or Sunday through Thursday. Each program is two hours in length. The preferred evening schedule is 6:00 to 8:00pm or 6:30 to 8:30pm. If you would prefer a morning program 9:30 – 11:30am works well.

Here’s how ABS works!
*The first 45 minutes together is a fast paced, general assembly lead by Steven. This includes: A Bible story, object lesson, songs, verse memorization, lots humor and group games! This is for all ages and is centered around the theme of being God’s person through words and actions. The kids love this time with Steven as it is fun and fast; 3 minutes of this and 2 minutes of that. Bam!

*The next 60 minutes takes place at different stations. (20/20/20)
The children are split into 3 groups and each group travels to three different areas, for a 20 minute visit.
Station 1 – Games with Steven Courtney!  A favorite, these games are designed to teach elements of the Fruit of the Spirit.
Station 2 – A craft time or “recess” time. This is lead by your church volunteers.
Station 3 – Snack time (at the “SHINE ON!” Diner) is lead by your church volunteers.

*Final wrap-up is 15 minutes – Groups return to the main area where Steven leads a time of wrap and encourages children to “SHINE ON!” as they go home and back to their neighborhood.

*The last evening of ABS (the forth or fifth evening) is an outreach concert with Steven Courtney (and his band) the Suitcase Musicians! Be sure to bring the whole family out to enjoy this special concert!

“SHINE ON!” Adventure Bible School with Steven Courtney books for a flat rate of $600.00 per day. This price is the same for the finale concert with Steven Courtney and the Suitcase Musicians!  Contact us ASAP to have an Adventure Bible School with Steven Courtney for the summer of 2012.
